Frequently Asked Questions

How does The Happy Shipper save me money on shipping?

We leverage volume relationships with major carriers like UPS, FedEx, and USPS to access discounted rates that everyday walk-in customers don't typically see. By using our platform, you can save up to 70% compared to retail counter prices — without needing to ship thousands of packages yourself.

Do I need to create an account?

No account needed. Enter your shipment details — dimensions, weight, origin, and destination — to compare rates instantly. You'll only need to provide an email address at checkout so we can send your label.

What carriers can I ship with?

We compare live rates across UPS, FedEx, and USPS so you can pick the best option for your shipment — speed, price, or both.

How do I receive my shipping label after payment?

After selecting a rate and completing payment, your label is generated automatically. It will download as a PDF, open in a new tab, and be emailed to the address you provided at checkout.

What are the package size and weight limits?

Limits vary by carrier service. For USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail, the maximum weight is 70 lbs. For lightweight packages under 1 lb, USPS First-Class supports up to 15.999 oz. UPS and FedEx limits vary by service level — the calculator will show you which services are available for your package.

What happens if I enter incorrect shipment details?

Rates are calculated based on the dimensions, weight, and addresses you enter. If those details are off, the carrier may issue an adjustment charge after the fact — which is why we display everything on the confirmation screen before you pay. If you need to make changes after purchase, contact us immediately at tom@vgoodconsulting.com.

Do shipments include tracking?

Yes. All domestic shipments include a tracking number. Once your label is generated, you'll receive it with your label email so you can monitor your package every step of the way.

How do I send my package after purchasing a label?

Print the label, attach it securely to your package, and drop it off at any location for the carrier on your label — UPS Store, FedEx Office, or USPS post office. We recommend grabbing a receipt when you drop off. You can also schedule a pickup directly through the carrier's website.
